Birmingham Blitz basketball team ready for opening game | News
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- A new semi-professional sports team is gearing up for their first game with practice and an introduction to the city.
Members of the Birmingham Blitz basketball team said a friendly hello to the Birmingham City Council Tuesday. They will play 15 home games at the CrossPlex. The first will be Friday night at 7 p.m. To continue the Veterans Day spirit, all retired and active military members can get into the game for free with ID.
