Third suspect in attempted robbery charged with murder
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a Birmingham homicide.
Police say a murder warrant has been issued against 21-year-old Corey Dortch of Fairfield and he's being held in the Jefferson County Jai on a $60,000 bond.
Investigators say 19-year-old Ryan Michael Jordan was shot and killed Dec. 9 on Avenue H. Police say Jordan was part of a group involved in an armed robbery. During that robbery, the victim started shooting and hit Jordan.
Two other suspects are also charged with murder because they took part in the robbery with Jordan.
